Marc’s life has been about pursuing twin passions: creating and recording his American roots songs, and exploring remote areas of the desert and mountain West. After signing his first publishing contract while in law school, he fronted rock bands and performed regularly in New York City clubs like CBGB, Wetlands, and The Knitting Factory. Marc and Co-Producer Mike Ricciardi now present RIDE, ten cinematic recordings reflecting his romantic connection to the American West and exploring the value of its myths to contemporary culture. Every Sunday
Every Sunday night is our Traditional Irish Seisiún. It is one of the longest running seisiúns in NYC and is hosted by Tony DeMarco (fiddle). Other guest musicians join in as the night goes on. In the past the seisiún has been the subject of an article in the NY Times and Tony appeared on “Live From Here” with Chris Thile on NPR. Without a doubt one of the best things you can do on a Sunday Night in NYC!

Chicago is the city where the blues went electric, and Chicago Blues Hall of Famer Paul Filipowicz learned from the people who made it happen. Paul was born in Chicago and first saw live blues in ’64 or ’65, standing outside a club on Chicago’s South Side listening to Otis Rush. Entranced, he learned the same way all the early blues masters did-by ear. After 50 years of fronting his own band, Paul has played all over the U.S. a tour of Mongolia and released 12 critically-acclaimed albums. Paul’s original slashing guitar style has become a landmark in the industry, warranting comparisons in top publications to such greats as John Lee Hooker, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, and Magic Sam. This seasoned pro continues to rack up awards and accolades, including, CHICAGO BLUES HALL OF FAME 2015, Illinois Rout 66 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2021 and Wisconsin Blues Hall of Fame 2023. Paul has become one of the greats who will inspire the next generation of young players.
Trespasser was formed three years ago by lead guitarist and singer Clay Rodgers at Wesleyan University. Some of their biggest influences are The Allman Brothers, JJ Cale, The Grateful Dead and Doc Watson. You can find their music on all streaming services, and follow them on instagram at @trespasser_band for updates on new releases and shows.

Jack Grace is that man: a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who’s been touring and recording for over 25 years. David Gans has been the host of The Grateful Dead Hour radio show since 1985. He will be doing two sets, one with a band and one solo with loops. David delivers literate, improvisational folk-rock with looping in a “solo electric” setting. A solo Gans show is likely to consist of several elements: country-blues-style fingerpicking; loop-based improvisations created live in the moment; sweetly-sung ballads, original or borrowed; Grateful Dead songs reinterpreted to suit his voice and guitar; wry observations of the music-festival subculture and the larger world; soulful and passionate political commentary; favorites from the folk-rock canon of the last 50 years. Mix and match – it’s never the same show twice, but it’s always worth a listen.

Annually on September 10th
No real event here, we just usually get together on what was Jack's Birthday and celebrate the greatest guy to ever walk through the doors to this bar. He was the King of Happy Hour and we named our Happy Hour after him.
Both a wily, charismatic performer and a fire-breathing virtuoso of the violin, Chris Murphy crams more musical mileage into a short set than most players do in an entire tour. Whether it’s through noirish atmospheres, joyfully bent traditional folk tunes, or belly-up to-the-bar Blues, Murphy does the devil’s handiwork on four strings with a winning presence and a gypsy’s knack for crossing all musical terrains.
11th St. Bar is the long-standing Official home of the New York Liverpool Supporters Club. Although LFCNY has expanded their reach with new bars, membership is still handled exclusively at the 11th St. Bar (on match days only).
The bar typically opens one hour before each game. Please check our events page for exact times. We do not accept reservations. It is first come first serve until we hit our capacity of 125.
Anyone can come to the bar, but if you are under 21, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For big games, we would always recommend getting to the bar as early as possible to gain entry. We can’t tell you exactly how early to get here as it varies every game.
11th St. Bar itself is becoming quite famous in Liverpool and is on the list of tourist attractions for visiting fans. On game days the fans tend to be exclusively Liverpool fans, though opposing fans are also very welcome. Game days are well worth the visit, especially the big games with all the singing, chanting, and excitement associated with the great tradition of Liverpool Football Club.
You’ll Never Walk Alone at 11th St. Bar!
The last time I was there was 10 years ago and the bar still rocks. Great beer and better service. The bartender was sharp and helpful.
...The bartenders were everything you wanted them to be. Unpretentious and attentive. Even when they were busy, they would give a nod to let you know that they'll be right with you...
Favorite East Village bar, heck, great bar anywhere. Fantastic bartender, great vibe, live music. Pretty perfect.
